Today, 1st February 2018, my brother was scheduled to have a family home visit, staying over the weekend.

The visit was unfortunately cancelled at last minute, due to JS (Team Lead at Herefordshire Council) not allowing my brother to meet at the chosen location from where I would pick him up. By doing so, JS Not only denied us of a valued family visit and stay but interfered in our statutory right to private and family life, and in my understanding, such also conflicts with, not least, principles of The Mental Capacity Act and DoLS authorisation.
